Аннотация: A second-order algorithm of weak improvement for an optimal control problem with a free right end is considered. The effectiveness of the algorithm depends on the choice of the values of the parameters determining the quality (step) of improvement. Therefore, the problem of automatic choice of the values of the parameters of the algorithm at each iteration is posed, and an approach to the solution of it, realized in two modified algorithms of weak improvement, is presented.
